Merry Christmas!

Dear Family and Friends,

Merry Christmas! We hope your year has been wonderful and full of joy. 2016 brought a lot of changes for our family.

In February, we ditched our 1.5 bedroom apartment in Sugar House (Salt Lake City) and became homeowners for the first time!  Our new house in Bountiful has felt like a castle compared to our apartment. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. We like that it has a big backyard with a wood fence, was newly remodeled when we moved in, and is just a couple blocks from a trailhead and a park. We also love our neighbors.

In July, our little Oliver turned one. He is a happy boy and has such a sweet disposition. Oliver had persistent ear infections and had to have ear tube surgery twice as well as an adenoidectomy. Despite his health challenges, he has hardly complained. Luckily his health has improved and he has been ear infection free for a few months now. Oliver can say about eight words now, knows animal noises, is great at charades, and keeps us all smiling and laughing.

In September, we learned that Oliver will soon become a big brother. We are excited to welcome a new baby BOY to our family around May 4, 2017. We’re still deciding on a name but have ruled out Voldemort, Dwight, and Donald.

Also in September, MaryAnn quit her job of three years as an Operations Manager at Select Portfolio Servicing to work as an attorney for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee. This has been a nice change for us because it has allowed MaryAnn to spend more time with our family.

In December, Daniel graduated with a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business. Daniel is excited to complete 21st grade and find a grown-up job. He is currently interviewing for positions and is hoping to land a job in healthcare as a data scientist.

We are grateful for your love and friendship and wish you all a happy new year!

With love,

Daniel, MaryAnn, and Oliver Bride
